Madame Humbert

Madame Humbert

In around 1880, Madame Humbert ran a flourishing dressmaker's business on the Channel Island of Jersey.

She had 14 dressmakers working there, producing her modern designs to the highest quality for her clients in England and France. A century later, my mother (who was also born in St. Helier) found several boxes there stamped: "Madame Humbert - Jersey".

They contained numerous Art Nouveau jewellery pieces, accessories and photos.

In memory of my great-grandmother, her old label has been revived, though with a new spirit and a fresh new collection of products. The three key principles are:

-exquisite designs
-modest production levels
-and the best quality
