Direct-2-Customer and product personalisation are two mega-trends with enormous growth potential. According to Deloitte, 32% of customers would like to have more say in how companies design their products. This is why the market for industrial digital printing is growing by 12% annually. However, the market lacks relevant design content.
According to the McKinsey Design Index, companies with a user-centered design strategy could almost double their sales compared to the competition! However, 40% of companies do not talk to their customers during design development. 50% of all companies surveyed do not have clear targets for the output of their design teams.
At the same time, there are some AI apps poping up that can be used to automate the design of entire interiors. The problem is that the entire fulfillment chain is missing. This means that users can only view the suggestions, but cannot order anything.
